I have 12+ years of experience designing and building websites for businesses, individuals, and nonprofits of all sizes. I’ve built sites for local coffee shops, for a sitting U.S. senator, and for multiple corporations with annual revenues in the billions.

I’ve been described by clients as “an invaluable asset,” as “the first person I call when I have a new project,” and as “someone who I would feel comfortable appointing as the sole arbiter of all my life’s decisions.”

I’ve been involved in all sides of web projects: as a dev on a team, as a project manager overseeing others, and as a client myself in multiple instances. I have a solid sense of how to best serve clients, whether that is as a solo developer or by subcontracting with trusted colleagues when needed.

I focus primarily in WordPress development, PHP, and various front-end technologies. Everything I build is mobile-responsive, results-focused, and easy to edit without technical skills.

Direct communication

All communication on your project will be directly with the developer doing the work. No project manager middlemen slowing down results.

SEO

I build all sites with search engine optimization in mind. Images will all be appropriately titled and alt-tagged. Future optimization for new keywords will also be easy with technologies in use.

Accessibility / ADA Compliance

Compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act is a complex beast. I always work with the ADA’s major web requirements in mind. I consult with clients on making their designs more accessible and default to accessible, screen reader-friendly options.

Future Proof

All my sites are well-documented and built with developer-friendly best practices and widely-used technologies. This ensures that the site can be seamlessly passed off to a different developer in the future, and also that it will be easy to find experienced people to work on the site.

Mobile-Responsive

Every site I build is mobile responsive and cross-tested across multiple devices, browsers, and browser widths.
